These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and MyHero when you access the MyHero mobile application, website or related services. By using MyHero, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Adult account and child supervision

The account holder must be legally able to enter into this agreement. MyHero is designed to be set up and managed by an adult parent or legal guardian. Children may enjoy stories only under adult supervision and should not independently create accounts, make purchases, submit personal information or use voice cloning features.

The MyHero service

MyHero creates personalized stories and narrated audio using details selected by an adult. Some content is generated with artificial intelligence and may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate or unexpected. A parent or guardian should review content and decide whether it is appropriate for their child. MyHero does not provide medical, psychological or professional educational advice.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for accurate account information, the security of your sign-in method and activity on your account. You may use MyHero for lawful personal and family use. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass access or payment controls, upload unlawful or infringing material, or use generated content to harm, deceive or impersonate another person.

Voice features

You may upload only your own voice or a voice for which you have clear, informed permission. Voice cloning may not be used for impersonation, fraud, harassment, misleading communications or any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the required consent. We may suspend or remove a custom voice when we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.

Subscriptions and purchases

MyHero may offer free features, consumable purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions. The price, duration, trial terms and included features shown before purchase apply to that transaction. Purchases made in the iOS app are charged to your Apple Account and are managed by Apple. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless cancelled through your App Store account before renewal. Deleting MyHero or your account does not cancel an active subscription. Apple handles eligible refund requests under its policies.

Your content and permission to operate the service

You retain any rights you have in information and recordings you provide. You grant MyHero and its service providers a limited right to host, process, reproduce and transform that material only as needed to operate, secure and improve the requested features. Your rights in generated output may vary by applicable law and provider terms. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, MyHero content is provided for personal, non-commercial family use.

MyHero intellectual property

The MyHero name, logo, application, website, interfaces, software and original materials are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials. You may not copy, sell, sublicense or reverse engineer them except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Availability, changes and termination

We may update, add, limit or discontinue features to maintain and improve the service. We may restrict or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security risks, fraud or legal requirements. You may stop using MyHero at any time and request account deletion through the contact page.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyHero is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that generated content will always meet every expectation. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, MyHero is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Apple terms

The iOS app is licensed, not sold. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app. These terms govern the MyHero service and supplement that license. If mandatory local law gives you additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the current version here and update the date above. We will provide reasonable additional notice for material changes.
